Frequently Asked Questions
Everything we get asked most often about painting, remodeling, flooring, windows and doors, commercial work, pricing and scheduling in Bolingbrook, IL and the surrounding suburbs.
General
Estimates, service area, hours and how to get started.
Yes. Every estimate is free and carries no obligation. Call (630) 631-9444 or send the contact form with a short description of the work and we will arrange a visit.
Bolingbrook and the surrounding communities within a 100-mile radius, covering DuPage, Will, Kane and Cook county suburbs. Our service areas pages list the towns we work in most often.
We work Monday – Saturday with flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend work on commercial projects. If you call outside working hours, leave a message or email sando.ja@outlook.com and we will come back to you.
Call or send the contact form with the service you need, the property location and a short description of the project. We will arrange a time to see the work, then send a written estimate covering materials, labor and schedule.
Painting
Interior and exterior painting, preparation and cleanup.
A single room is often a day. A full interior usually takes several days depending on ceilings, trim and patching. Exterior projects depend on the size of the house, the condition of the surfaces and the weather window.
Yes, and it is the part of the job that decides how long the finish lasts. Surfaces are cleaned, holes and cracks filled and sanded, loose paint scraped, bare wood primed and gaps caulked before any finish coat goes on.
Yes. Combined projects are usually staged in two parts, with the exterior scheduled for suitable weather and the interior worked around your household.
Quality paints and primers matched to the surface, the room and the exposure — washable finishes for high-traffic interiors, moisture-resistant products for kitchens and baths, and exterior-grade coatings built for Illinois weather. We will tell you what we plan to use before we start.
Always. Drop cloths, tape, tools and containers are removed, fixtures and hardware are reinstalled and the space is swept. We do not consider the job finished until the area is back in order.
Remodeling
Kitchens, bathrooms, full-home projects and planning.
Kitchens, bathrooms, full-home remodels and interior upgrades such as drywall repair, trim, doors and flooring. Because painting, flooring and carpentry are all in-house, a project that needs several trades stays with one contractor.
Yes. One bathroom, one room or a list of smaller interior repairs is a normal project for us, and those jobs are often easier to schedule at short notice than a full remodel.
We will walk you through layouts, materials and finishes, and tell you honestly what each choice means for cost and schedule. The decisions stay yours — we make sure you are making them with good information.
A bathroom is usually measured in weeks and a kitchen longer, depending on materials and lead times. Full-home projects are staged room by room. Your written estimate includes an expected schedule, and we tell you as soon as anything shifts.
Flooring, Windows & Doors
Floor installation, replacement windows and new doors.
Hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank and tile. Moisture, traffic, pets and budget all point toward different materials, so we talk the options through before you commit to one.
Yes. We remove the old units, check and repair the opening, set the new window or door square, insulate and seal it, and finish the interior and exterior trim.
Drafts you can feel, condensation between the panes, rotted or swollen frames, and sashes or doors that stick are the usual signs. We will tell you which openings genuinely need replacing and which can wait.
Yes. Lifting the old floor, checking and repairing the subfloor and taking the waste away are all included in a flooring project.
Commercial
Business properties, after-hours work and downtime.
Interior and exterior commercial painting, maintenance repainting, flooring, and window and door replacement for offices, retail units and other business properties.
Yes. Evenings and weekends are common on commercial jobs. We agree access, keys and security arrangements with you before the first shift.
We stage the work area by area, protect everything that stays in place, and clean up at the end of every shift so the space is ready for staff and customers when you open.
Pricing & Scheduling
What projects cost, when we can start and how payment works.
It depends on the size of the space, the condition of the surfaces, the materials you choose and how much preparation is needed. That is why the estimate is free and in writing — you see the price for your actual project before you commit to anything.
It depends on the season and the size of the job. We work Monday – Saturday with flexible scheduling, and exterior work is always weather dependent. We will give you a realistic start date with your estimate.
Payment terms, including any deposit, are set out in your written estimate before work begins. You will know exactly what is due and when before you agree to the project.
